Donna Venegas, Owner . Designer

Donna founded Venegas and Company in January 2009, with one employee, Meaghan Moynahan. In the 10 Years since its inception, Venegas and Company has grown to be a Kitchen Design Firm that is recognized as an industry leader and innovator that cultivates talent and advances the specialty of kitchen design and custom cabinetry.

Venegas and Company’s work has been featured in Boston Magazine, Design New England, Boston Home Magazine, and New England Home Magazine. Venegas and Company has appeared on This Old House.

Venegas and Company has been awarded Boston Magazine’s “Best of Boston” designation two times, first in 2012 and then in 2016.

Donna serves on many industry design councils to help direct the future of kitchen design. She and her team are specialists in their field, dedicated to the art of kitchen design and collaboration.

“This is no other work I’d rather be doing. Kitchens are not business, kitchens are personal. I develop such great relationships with my clients. This work is so rewarding!”

Meaghan Moynahan, Director of Technical Design - Lead Designer

Meaghan helped found Venegas and Company in January of 2009. She is a tremendous asset to the company and sets the standard for the level of technical design and client care that Venegas and Company is known for.

Meaghan demonstrates a talent for listening and interpreting design intent.  She effectively communicates with our manufacturers and is recognized by builders for her accuracy and promptness.

Meaghan contributes to product development, collaborating on new door styles, finish techniques and showroom displays.  Most recently, our Designer Veneers and custom metallic have captured her interest.

Although she takes her work very seriously, she does not take herself so seriously. She’s been known to drive from job site to job site, blaring country music.

Michele Kelly, Designer

Michele Kelly has been designing for Venegas and Company since 2009. After earning a degree in Interior Design from the New England School of Art and Design she quickly discovered her passion for the creative and highly technical field of kitchen design. Michele believes that the most innovative and successful projects result from collaboration and team work. She is inspired by the talented designers in her studio as well as the architects, interior designers, cabinet makers and builders with whom she collaborates.

Michele is always up for a creative challenge; whether it involves developing new and unique finishes and door styles or solving a complex construction problem. She approaches every new project with the goal of creating beautifully tailored spaces that functions perfectly for her clients. 

Her work has been featured in New England Home, Boston Home, Design New England, and on This Old House.

Always out and about, Michele is a self proclaimed FOMO sufferer. Michele is an avid concert-goer, hiker, snowboarder, and world traveler. She lives in Milton with her husband Jack.

Christina Goncalves, Technical Designer and Showroom Supervisor

With an interior design background and experience in tile, Christina  has now turned her focus to cabinet and millwork design.  Christina participates in all client projects, assisting in any capacity to learn the ropes.

Christina is a dedicated athlete.  She is passionate about dance; specializing in tap and jazz she belongs to a dance company, she performs and mentors younger dancers.

With roots in Madeira, Christina enjoys travel and culture. She is active in community and participates in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer each year.

Jenny Mui, Technical Designer and Project Manager

With a degree in Interior Architecture, Jenny has always had an interest in design and the fine arts.  During her college career, her wood shop and furniture making classes sparked her interest in cabinetry and mill work.

As a project manager, Jenny oversees the entire project from conception to finish, ensuring design gets executed as planned and making sure no small detail is overlooked. She loves collaborating with builders and designers in construction resolutions, whether it is minute or complex.

Jenny would also describes herself as a Foodie and loves exploring new restaurants. Also new to motherhood, she loves spending every minute with her daughter and introducing her to good eats!
